Hey cuties!
Hope you all are doing well.
So, in today's blog post, I have a review on Beautybar's Mystery box!
Recently, beautybar came out with their first ever mystery box. They say that you won't get to know what's inside the box till you get your hands on it.
The box contains full sized products from different brands and is worth 50% more of what you pay and they are in 3 different values according to your budget.
Rs. 1000
Rs. 2000
Rs. 3000
Now, I personally believe this is a really cool offer. Like, you get products half their price. And, I really like the fact that it has 3 different values which will accommodate everyone.
I ordered the mystery box which was Rs 2000 which is also called mystery box B. Now, I don't know if every box is unique. But the mystery box B came in with 5 different products, and those products are:

I ordered the mystery box which was Rs 2000 which is also called mystery box B. Now, I don't know if every box is unique. But the mystery box B came in with 5 different products, and those products are:
- Makeup Revolution London Redemption Eye Shadow Pallet
- Essence Matt Matt Matt Lipgloss
- Co Natural Restorative Eye Gel
- Nyx Stick Blush
- 7th Heaven Mask
(Note: I will only be reviewing 3 of the products in today's post. I will have to test out the eye gel and mask for at least 2 weeks to give an honest review on it. Everything I say is personally what I think about the products. If it does or does not work for me, it doesn't have to be the same case for you. And this isn't #spon wish it was 😅)Makeup Revolution London Redemption Eye Shadow Pallet
The actual price of this pallet is Rs.950. Now, the shades are pigmented but they are not buttery. It contains 12 shades and all the shadows are different. The packaging is pretty basic but it looks gorgeous. The lid was cracked when I received the package. I think its a good thing that the lid is transparent. In this way, you don't have to open the pallet in order to see the shades. It is a mix of pearl, shimmer and matte shades. It does not have fall out. However, you will have to build up the colour to create more intensity even though it glides on really smoothly. The colour stays on for a good 6-7 hours if you have a primer underneath. But, the colour does get dim through out the day.
Essence Matt Matt Matt Lip Gloss
The actual price of this product is Rs. 395. Now, don't get me wrong. I love essence. It's a really good drug store brand and all the prices of their products are quite reasonable. But this product didn't work out for me. First, I was really excited when i saw this in the box because I love essence. And the packaging was pretty cute. The product comes in a transparent tube with black detailing. The thing that got me really curious was the name. Is it a lip gloss? Or is it a matte liquid lipstick? I got mine in the shade "Girl of Today". So apparently, they are long lasting lip glosses with a velvety matte finish. But that's not the case. It doesn't have the best colour pay off and it's streaky. It doesn't stay on the lips as the company claims.
The formula is very creamy but not matte at all but it does have a bit shine to it. The long lasting power is what disappointed me. But one thing I really loved about this gloss is that it has this really sweet scent. It kinda smells like vanilla and chocolate coffee! Would I recommend this? No, I really wish it had a matte finish and more pigmentation. Not impressed by the formula at all.
Nyx Stick Blush
So, the last product I will be talking about is the Nyx Stick blush. The actual price of this product is Rs. 925. I got mine in the shade "Water Lilly".
It has a creamy, blendable formula. It is easy to apply as it comes in a stick and it will come in handy as its summer season and it is long lasting! It's pigmented, but not that pigmented. It doesn't leave the skin with an oily shine. You can apply it with a beauty blender or your fingers. But a stippling brush would also work if you tap the product in to the skin. In this way, it wouldn't move the products underneath.
Would I recommend this? Absolutely!
That's it for today's blog post. I hope you guys enjoyed and remember, it is a limited time offer. You should definitely check it out only on www.beautybar.pk 💚
